Hello world!

I thought I’d leave the title of the first post as “Hello world!” seeing as it was the first thing that a programmer got a computer to ‘say.’  This is the first thing that I want Droids (for short) to say: hello world!

Briefly about me: I’m a sole Internal Communications resource within a medium-sized organisation in the UK.  At some point, no doubt, it’ll become apparent who my employer is (or someone will spot me), but I’m going to keep it semi-anonymous, as the blog is NOT about my employer, but rather about the work I perform on a daily basis.

I’d like as many comments as possible on what I post.  I don’t want to be deliberately controversial or anything; I just want to voice opinions, thoughts and frustrations and get yours in the opposite direction.  Perhaps I might be able to solve a few problems and help eradicate a few frustrations of yours along the way.  Who knows.
